We are pleased to announce that Avihay Zafrany has joined Indo Innovate IL as VP Defense Strategy.

Avihay is a senior executive and Colonel (Res.) with more than 25 years of leadership experience across complex organizations, operational units, and strategic defense programs.

In his new role, he will lead the company’s defense strategy initiatives, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support the development of innovative defense and homeland security collaborations between Israel and India. Working closely with government agencies, industry leaders, and strategic partners, he will help identify new opportunities and advance impactful bilateral cooperation.

Prior to joining Indo Innovate IL, Avihay served as Israel’s Defense Attaché to India for over three and a half years, where he played a central role in strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries. Throughout his career, he has built extensive expertise in strategic planning, international defense collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and leading high-impact initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.

Avihay’s unique combination of operational leadership, strategic vision, and deep understanding of the Israeli and Indian defense ecosystems makes him a valuable addition to our growing team.
