In a landmark achievement for INDO Innovate IL, the firm has successfully closed a $45 million contract for the supply and integration of an advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) system developed by an Israeli defense SME, to be deployed with the Indian Armed Forces.

The deal, which was negotiated over 18 months, involved extensive liaison with the Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and the relevant Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU). INDO Innovate’s on-ground team in India managed the entire procurement cycle — from the initial Request for Information (RFI) to the final contract signing.

“This contract is a testament to the trust we’ve built on both sides of the corridor,” said Mr. Eli Hefets, Founder & CEO of INDO Innovate IL. “Our client had a world-class product, but navigating the Indian procurement process requires patience, relationships, and deep local knowledge. That’s exactly what we deliver.”

Col. (Ret) Manish Sarin, President of Operations India, added: “The Indian MoD recognized the strategic value of this EW system for national security. Our role was to ensure that all compliance, offset obligations, and technology transfer requirements were met seamlessly.”

The deal includes a significant ‘Make in India’ component, with 40% of the system to be manufactured locally through a Joint Venture partner identified and vetted by INDO Innovate. This JV will create over 200 high-skilled jobs in India’s defense corridor.
